Charlotte and Henry met during junior year of college at the University of Georgia and were set up by one of their dear friends for the Chi Omega Christmas date night!

There was a series of unfortunate events including Charlotte falling and leaving her purse in an Uber on the way to the event but that didn't stop them from having the best night getting to know each other.

Henry took Charlotte to New Orleans for the Sigma Chi formal weekend in January 2020 and they had so much fun together and became even closer. Henry then asked Charlotte to be his girlfriend after having dinner at Trappeze Pub in Athens!

Their relationship has remained steadfast through the COVID pandemic, long distance from Georgia to Texas, and Charlotte's chaotic medical school schedule.

Henry met with Charlotte's parents in Dallas in the spring of '24 to ask for her hand in marriage. They were absolutely thrilled and Henry planned a beautiful proposal at his family home on Lake Oconee on December 28, 2024. They were joined by both their families and a few friends. They then traveled to Savannah to celebrate the New Year and begin wedding planning.
